Start your Saturday with fellowship, fresh air, and a little adventure!
Every Saturday morning, members of Knights of Columbus Council #4812 gather for Knight Riders, an informal opportunity to enjoy cycling, walking, breakfast, and fellowship with Brother Knights.
When the weather is good, the group typically meets around 7:30–8:00 AM for a bike ride. We try to ride along the Erie Canal whenever possible, with routes and distances changing from week to week. Most outings finish around noon, although longer rides may continue until approximately 1:00 PM.
You do not have to complete the entire ride to participate. Some members meet the group at a halfway point for a shorter ride, while others drive directly to the restaurant and join everyone for breakfast. When the weather is poor, the group may skip the ride altogether and simply meet for breakfast. The choice is yours!
The exact route, meeting point, and destination vary each week. Bob Caulkins sends a text, usually before noon on Friday, with the plans for Saturday morning. Participants are asked to reply so the group knows who is coming and where they plan to meet.
Want to join us?
Text Bob Caulkins at 585-732-1645 and ask to be added to the Knight Riders notification list.
Ride the whole route, join us halfway, or just come for breakfast — there’s a place for you.
